Interview
I was approached via an unexpected telephone call by a Talent Acquisition Partner within Randstad Sourceright in Birmingham.
First stage of the process was a telephone interview with the Operations Manager who will just simply go through the role in detail and in turn, ask what you understand about the role.
After a brief telephone conversation, the Operations Manager invited me in to attend a face to face interview where they simply asked about my career aspirations and told me that they wanted to help me achieve my goals.
They asked me extremely personal questions, which was feasible I guess meaning that they wanted to treat the whole atmosphere relaxing and informal that I was even given the opportunity to meet one of the members of the team who I would be working with.
This is very rare and tends to be a good sign at the interview.
The final stage was a second face to face interview. The reason why they did that was because another team member wasn't able to attend the interview.
A couple of days later, I got offered the job.
Overall an extremely positive interview and it's my second favourite I have ever experienced in my career.
