I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Randstad US
Interview
Contacted by recruiter and talked for about 30 minutes. Spoke with the hiring manager for in depth invterview. Asked questions on my previous employers, technical background and education. Also asked questions on people skills and challenges in previous roles.
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Randstad US (New York, NY) in Aug 2025
Interview
Horrible. Previously you spoke to a human being. Now they're using an AI model to vet candidates. Feels like you're a number, Your also never sure of what the job is too and who you're going to be working for. So how exactly does one prove themselves?

Question 1
What are your salary expectations? How many years of experience do I have?
Friendly and concise, got back to me right away. Interviewer was a professional placer, they had no tech experience so it made the interview feel a bit easy because I had a lot of experience in the role I applied for.
Pretty straight forward - standard screening questions etc/ Then they hand you off to the hiring manager for second/third rounds. Thirty words here is not adding value - but I need access to this site so I will continue to add words
