An industry recruiter connected me with the opportunity to interview for this contract role with no guarantee that it would convert to a full-time position. My initial interview was with the hiring manager, and was focused on my qualifications. My second interview was with a skip level manager and a cross-functional team member, and it comprised situational-based questions, which are more difficult for me to answer since they are based more on what I would do in a hypothetical situation vs. actual experiences.
