I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Raymond James Financial (Memphis, TN) in Aug 2016
Interview
This was by far the worst interview process I have ever experienced. It started off well with a phone screening with HR. They liked my experienced and said I should get an email or phone call to set up a face to face with the hiring manager. The next day I get another call from HR saying they wanted to do a phone interview. I was a little confused and it was clear they didn't realize I already had a phone interview. Also the people from HR had very little knowledge of how time zones work. Given their role, I thought this was rather odd.
When I went in for a face to face with the hiring manager, the interview lasted about two and a half hours. The person interviewing me spoke about 75% of the time. I would begin to answer a question and he would interrupt me to tell me a story and would ramble on. He even at one point apologized for being scatter brained. In addition, he mentioned things about the company and this department that made me realize that I would not want to work their nor do business with Raymond James.

Question 1
tell me about yourself. do you have experience with excel? what was your day to day like in your prior role? what did you like about your last job? When you say "projects", can you tell me more about what you mean?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Raymond James Financial (Riverhead, NY) in May 2011
Interview
Handed my resume to a friend and did not hear anything for 9 months, then received an e-mail asking if I was still looking for employment. I responded, set up an interview, came in and met with the Manager. He said he would let me know in a week, which he did, made me an offer, I countered and was hired.
