I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Red Hat (Bengaluru) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was interviewed at Red Hat Bangalore. I got it by employee referral. Overall was good. 2 persons took my interview.
Mainly they asked about python, little about data structures. Few HR formal questions that's all. I was interviewed in March 2017 . They wanted full time employee. That time i was in final semester of my engineering. I could not join. On June 5th, i got a call from Red Hat regarding joining. I am happy for that.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Waterford) in Apr 2026
Interview
general technical questions about coding, variables, databases, linux. More interested if you learn the subject text by heart than you are a good character/worker. That is all. Nothing else to mention
It started with a phone call from HR, and then I got a call back to set some time up to get interviewed by someone on the team. Once I passed that round, I got interviewed by the hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, and how would you describe yourself (3 personality traits)
3 rounds -recruiter screen, technical, panel interview. Relatively standard process I would say. I would recommend brushing up on your basics, in addition to looking into the specifics of your particular role and what you can bring to the table/ what interests you the most about the particular technology you would be working on.
