Red Hat Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Interview was not stressful, very pragmatic without the unrealistic uber-hard coding questions that some of the bigger players ask, they just search for your knowledge, personality and experience. The people who interviewed me were also the team I worked on, so I got to meet pretty much every team member during the interview process which was brilliant for a candidate perspective to know what that specific team's culture was in the company.

I talked to a manager at a career fair and she encouraged me to apply, even though I do not meet the requirements. A Recruiter gave me a super negative impression of the company. It seems he was trying to find answers to reject me. Is the company into micromanagement? The questions were like: He asked me personal life questions like, why did you move to this country? How is your visa status? Why do you want to leave the medical industry if it’s a huge industry? (I answer) But why do you want to leave this company? Those questions are old-fashioned and big companies do not ask these types of questions anymore.
