The first interview was with the engineering manager, who is really knowledgeable and has great leadership empathy. The virtual onsite interview consists of talking to 7 people.
- 15 minutes with your recruiter
- 45 minutes whiteboarding another Engineering Manager & a Principal Engineer, like an SDI interview with Google docs or a Readme file.
- 30 minutes cultural and behavioral interview with the Director to see if you're a good fit with their company values, which they called "RAPID":
Results driver
Accountable team player
Passionate
Influential communicator
Development-driver
- 45 minutes of technical discussion with a Senior Engineer & Director of Engineering
- 30 minutes with the VP of Engineering to understand team culture, what to expect, engineering products you'll work on, etc. A very well-read person with a lot of wisdom and care for the people they lead.
All green flags, great teams, great culture, great career growth, everything great. They're a platform of brands, and you can choose what industry you're passionate about: Education, Health, Media, etc. They truly uphold their RAPID values. They're very invested in employee satisfaction and career growth. They have technical workshops and partner with Github and other companies to host tech events. They even have an internal coding bootcamp for any salespersons who want to transition to coding! A great place if you like to be both a mentor and mentee. They have really fun technical challenges to tackle as well!
