I applied online. I interviewed at Reddit (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Very straightforward process. provided a guide of what to expect, a list of people youd be meeting with. Most people were friendly and great to chat with. more of a conversation than a formal interview.

Interview
A lot of time elapsed between each round of interviews with pretty slow responses to emails. The interviews themselves were pretty standard. The interviewer was nice and the questions were straightforward.

Interview
I was contacted by the hiring manager about a position I had applied for, we scheduled a 30 minute call. The call was great, meaningful and relevant questions and discussions with room for me to ask questions throughout the call. The amount of transparency about the process was fantastic.
Steps:
- Phone screening with the hiring manager
- Take-home test
- Call with HR about logistics and personal timeline
- Final 2 hour interview round with a loop interview with different team members (even came with a little packet for me to see who I would be talking with during the call)
I waited no longer than a week between each of these stages and between the hiring manager and HR, I was never let wondering whats happening or hanging out there to dry. Communication was topnotch and couldn't ask for any better from a candidate standpoint.
Overall a very wonderful experience. I did receive an offer and it was very competitive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself?
What do you look for in a co-worker?
What are your strengths?
How would you handle a difficult situation?
Plenty of job related questions and discussion but nothing that was too difficult to answer for someone with experience in their chosen field. No "trick" questions either.
