Interview
I always apply to Regal Cinemas but they didn't contact me until after my previous job which allowed me to write down job experience. They called me about a week after I applied online and asked me to come in for an interview. The interview went very well, I had plenty of availability, and my experience in retail really helped me answer the questions. I was sent to the manager who then gave me three reference sheets to return to her within the next 4 days.
These are not just name and phone number reference sheets, there is a short questionnaire and a signature is required. Unfortunately my previous job has a policy against any references that are not just a simple name a phone number and I was unable to move further in the application process. The orientation was within the next few days and all they needed to do was verify the references. So if you have an interview, you talk to the manager, and you're able to provide all three references, you probably have the job.
