The firm was extremely unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. I applied online and initially got an automatic rejection email a few days later; fine, no worries. Then, I get contacted by a HR rep thanking me for my interest, explaining the role in more detail, and to answer a few background questions. Doesn't make sense as I thought I was rejected, but none the less I respond. I hear back from two people in the ECM division about setting up a phone interview. Interview comes around and only one of the two guys is on the call and the interview goes well. The gentlemen I spoke with said I should hear back shortly about scheduling the next round interview. Two weeks go by and nothing. So I reach back out to the guy I spoke with to follow up, nothing. The following week I reach out to the HR rep I initially spoke with asking her for a follow up, nothing. A couple days, I email the one guy who missed my interview (he was the one who reached out to set up the call originally) asking hi for an update, nothing.
At this point, I have moved on and I am in the interview process with other firms, but I still wanted to share my experience with a firm that clearly does not care for candidate's time nor has enough decency to provide an update. It is completely rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional to conduct an interview and never respond back to a candidate. I get that things come up and hiring managers can get busy, but to give a candidate the cold shoulder for over three weeks is unacceptable. Not to mention the HR rep's job is to handle these types of situations and she completely dropped the ball.
I certainly wish others have a much better experience than I did and I hope the firm doesn't treat them as poorly.
