I applied online and got an email from a woman in Talent Acquistion. We set up what I thought was a Teams meeting, but ended up as a phone screen. She was very lovely and we discussed the role. She explained some aspects of the role that were not mentioned in the posting. Apparently, there were multiple roles with the same title, but different foci. After the phone screen was concluded she sent me information on the benefits packages offered. And then came an invitation to take a Teams call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was incredibly friendly and positive. My interaction with her was really great. We talked for the full duration and learned a lot more about the role and what it entailed. I could have worked well with her and her team however better qualified candidates were chosen.
