I was invited to an interview with a calendly link, couldn’t make any of the limited options so emailed the recruiter about other times and received no response, so I rearranged my plans to make one of the slots.
The recruiter cancelled the interview with 20 minutes notice, then provided me with another link to reschedule. Not only did the link not work, she also said she was on PTO the whole of the following week so would pick up in June. There was another email in her OOO for anything urgent which was an unmonitored inbox so I had no way of contacting anyone else.
I had to chase on her return and of course, the role has been filled.
This company has wasted a significant amount of my time after I’d spent hours scouring over their extensive candidate pack and rescheduled my plans. I know TA teams are often overwhelmed but this level of disrespect for a candidates time is so unacceptable in a time where so many people are out of work, and from a company who so publicly pride themselves on operational efficiency.
I have previously been a remote customer and I won’t be again after this experience
