First, I had gone through the original revature cycle about 3-4 years ago. They reached out to me as an "alumni" and wanted to give me opportunities through them.
During the interview, they asked me questions about every single thing on my resume. They focused on my older tech stack that I hadn't used in 2 years. Most questions were memorization based and not based on efficiency or quality as a engineer. Which is not a surprise since their program had followed that approach. So, their questions were not geared towards "real world" development/engineering. The questions spanned frontend, backend, databases, devops, secops, cloudops, projects, and soft skills.
After the interview, they give you a total score out of 100. They tell you what areas you were weak on. The interviewer did not seem to fully understand advanced concepts because they marked me low in an area that i said almost word for word according to oracle docs (because I've used it a million times and understood its core concept).
