      Manager Interview

      Jan 26, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds in Jan 2016

      Interview

Applied on indeed. Heard from recruiter in about 2 days they then sent me the at home assessment. Not too tough they were yimed. Enjoyed personality portion as it limited middle responses to 7 out of 50. Ethics portion was odd 10 choices ranging from always to never, lots of questions on Marijuana. They had me send them 2 times that worked and they sent me confirmation with practice questions. Study the practice questions though the math was easier on the test then the practice. When you get to the center you have 3 test. They say not to guess as you lose a fourth of a point for wrong answers and do not lose for no answers. If I would have given this dome thought I would have went ahead and guessed as odds are 1 in 4 I would get it right, oh well. On the first one I recommend writing alphabet out it will help you find patterns. Next was a pattern shape test the beginning questions were easy and end were difficult if I was to take again I would start at the end. The math I knew was going to be trouble no math class in 13 years. It actually was easier than I had expected but still only got through 4 out of 7 pages. There was a direct question from the practice test though. I did spend some time studying algebra word problems before taking it which did help me. Unfortunately not enough as I heard the dreaded "you will hear back in 3 to 5 days." It's a shame too I would have been great at the job.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Fort Worth, TX) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Stay FAR Away - Bad management that doesn't respect people. THey start off by contacting you to fill out an application, without ever letting you speak to someone about the position. So, the candidates have NO IDEA if they even want the job. You receive the application link and low-and-behold, they also want you to do NEEDLESS testing: Mathematics, etc. The testing would be fine, if you really wanted the job they submit you for or you applied for. But, without a single call, etc, they email you a link and want you to spend over "TWO HOURS" to take testing and fill out an application. THAT SHOULD BE RED FLAG #1. Generally, when a company does this without ever speaking to you or letting you speak to the hiring manager, HR, etc, they are NOT GOING to hire you. They have you fill out the PPWK, because they already have the candidate they wanted; already hired. They just need MORE applicants to "APPLY" by filling out ppwk, so they maintain that they are fair, etc, through their EEOC policy. They are hard to work for, no advancement opportunities and you will be miserable. MOVE ON... Trust me - not a good place to work. Check out the complaints they have on EEOC and other job boards. STAY FAR AWAY!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None because they only want to be EEOC compliant. They aren't EEOC compliant, they send you a test that takes HOURS to complete, before anyone at the company has called even once. TERRIBLE company, process is broken.

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (College Station, TX) in Dec 2017

      Interview

I had the worst experience.... I even spoke with the woman administrating the aptitude test and the forms required to be completed upon arrival to the facility. I was given standard EEOC questions regarding race and gender. When I asked the woman about the portion to disclose a disability she reviewed the form and stated “oh it must have been an oversight, I will make a notation on your application.” I took the aptitude test - typically the only modification I need is extended time on testing. I felt extremely rushed and left the facility completely frustrated. This is something important for ReyRey to know moving forward - If an employer requires job applicants to take a test, the test must be necessary and related to the job and the employer may not exclude people of a particular race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, or individuals with disabilities. If a job applicant with a disability needs an accommodation to apply for a job, the employer is the employer is required to provide the accommodation, so long as the accommodation does not cause the employer significant difficulty or expense. No surprise here but less than a week later I received a rejection. I am completely capable of doing the job - it just would have been nice to be offered the proper accommodations.
