I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ring (Kyiv, Kyiv)
Interview
Pleasant recruiter screening interview, adequate questions and conversation with two developers, pretty standard questions and overall good impressions. But, eventually no offer and an absolutely fake feedback not related to the interview, questions/answers or position itself. Interviewers have significantly less experience in development themselves and apparently pursuing their own interests and goals.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ring in Apr 2019
Interview
The first call was with a recruiter, due to time difference she used to call during odd times. The interview itself was difficult, Engineer had a lot of attitude whenever I used to select a data structure. He had an attitude of I know this and you don't know anything, the typical startup mentality. Thank god I was not chosen to next round.
