First round was a recruiter screening round in which the company, its products and business were presented - basically it was to sell the company to the interviewee.
Next round was a hiring manager screening round. In this round there were a lot of questions on past experience, reasons for considering Rippling, approach to hiring and performance management etc were asked.
I didn't progress to the next rounds which would be 1-2 tech rounds and a final HR round.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Reasonable meeting with the recruiter and hiring manager. The technical screen was next and a complete mess. The interviewer was late, didn't know who I was, didn't know what the role was, and was generally disengaged. At one point the interviewer said flat out: "I'm going to stop speaking with you".
The recruiter ghosted me when I asked for any constructive feedback.

Question 1
Given frontend APIs, DB, schema, and event capture system: design an end do end recommendation system including ingestion, indexing, and personalization.
The interview started with a coding round followed by behavioral. After that , they switched and told me that the interview is now for an IC role rather than a manager which was surprising, confusing and frustrating.
