My interview experience with Rippling was disappointing and unprofessional.
The interviewer joined late to our scheduled meeting, yet later rushed the conversation and ended early because he had a “hard stop.” That felt especially frustrating given that my time clearly wasn’t treated with the same respect at the start of the interview.
Throughout the conversation, the tone felt abrasive and unnecessarily confrontational. Rather than creating a productive discussion about my experience, the interviewer appeared to fact-check my responses in real time in a way that came across as distrustful rather than conversational. The overall interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and lacking basic professionalism.
Regardless of whether I’m selected to move forward, interviews are a reflection of company culture, and this experience left me with serious concerns about how candidates are treated. Based on this interaction alone, I would be hesitant to pursue an opportunity with a company that allows this kind of interview experience.
