1st stage: recruiter initial screen: I had to send 3 follow up emails after I submitted my availability to even get to the screening call, recruiter didn't feel the need to apologise or explain what happened. The recruiter was nice making me feel as if I already got the job, but mostly was asking me very unrelevant questions about my personal life as if she didn't even spend a bit of time to look through my CV. She then decided to ask me the classical questions: Why Rippling? Why this position? Salary expectations? Tell me a bit about yourself etc. 2nd stage: 30min interview with senior manager and 30min interview with director ( informal): I quickly got passed to this round, but only because I mentioned my tough timeline. The first guy was lovely and asked me general CV related questions as well as standard project management questions: How fast did I implement projects, naming examples and my motivations. The second guy was quite tough and serious, trying to understand more whether I was a cultural fit and taking the time to warn me about the non existing work life balance at the company. He seems to be a nice guy that simply doesn't know that authority can be gained in a different way. It seems as if I left an impression because it took a day to pass me to the final round. 3rd stage: panel interview with potential colleagues and a teach me anything scenario presentation showing off presentation/ communciation and demo skills with questions asked. I had fun preparing the presentation and generally had a good feeling. Everyone was super nice and gave good feedback, but I still felt that were hiding something from me. From there on no timeline was communciated, was in touch with the recruiter on that day and ever since never heard back from them. Frankly, it is scary to see so many bad reviews from ex, current and potential employees, but I felt this is a great place for growth and ambitious, resilient people that can take on some work, the product seems amazing to work with and it is a culture I can identify with. However, getting ghosted as many other after receiving phenomenal feedback just feels wrong and shows that this is not a company anyone should waste their time on since significant amount of time and effort goes into preparing each round and the disrespect towards applicants is just unbearable. I wish I would have had better things to say, but unfortunately as a generally excited person about the product and company, I have to say that the lack of professionalism, respect and transparency is even scaring me away from working there.
