Horrible process. It was very difficult to get hold of the recruiter at every step. I think this is by far the worst experience.
Rounds
1. Recruiter Screening
2. Technical Screening SQL, Python
Next round was Onsite, First the onsite schedule was emailed to me the day before the onsite and I didnt know what to expect in spite of following up several times.
3. The onsite had 5 rounds 45 mins each and was super exhausting
- call with a team member who seemed bored while speaking
- Tableau exercise (Had no clue this was going to happen but it went well)
- call with the Head who was super nice and fun to talk to
- call with the Hiring Manager finally ( She seemed very tired. Given that the company is growing so rapidly I know that the job requirements would keep changing. The Hiring Manager kept emphasizing on it and if I am ready for an environment where job duties would keep changing)
- Call with a Senior Analyst who seemed super friendly but his questions were not the typical behavioural type. It was a lot related to "How Would I get people to come around if they don't agree initially, How do I convince something to people?" etc
All the rounds focused less on my technical skills and what I can bring to the table in terms of automation which they seem to need desperately.
The recruiter sent a sweet rejection notice than a generic one which I really appreciate!
