Ghosting is the policy of this org. I gave 7 interview rounds and not the decency to revert even after weeks on the outcome or when they will revert. Messages and emails go unanswered..So that itself is a major negative as many have written here on glassdoor.
Very unprofessional interview panel. Almost every single person went atleast 10 mins over their allotted time slot leaving less than 2 mins for asking a question. They are unapologetic at that time and for the sake of formality ask if we want to question something and when you do, they are like I have to run to another meeting. Don't you'll know what to do when you want so much from the candidate ? And to ask STAR format ! blah.
One of the senior engineering managers was walking all over his home in middle of the interview with the laptop in hand.. it was so much visually breaking my chain of thought, he was talking for 40 mins himself from more than an hour long interview, cutting over my answers (for which I anyway had little opportunity to speak), he asked me more than 1 large complex question at the same time, so I had to tell him that I'll answer in two parts, worse, he made assumptions on my profile and telling me what I am not fit for without me ever sending my resume to them, I had to make him stop and him my role, in the end wrapped up by ashamedly telling me he has to run giving me no time to ask anything !
Top the cake: the HR/Recruiters of Rivian are not interested in knowing how the interview went. They talk about "People company" but no one wanted to know what it was like, Secondly, I got to know from many on the panel that its quite crazy life, so people expect you to be doing anything that is given to you ! Its good but its crazy adhoc.. I'd say, dodged a bullet !
