I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Robert Half (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2012
Interview
Responded to posting on job board and received a callback and set up an interview. Went on website and glassdoor to prepare for interview. I also prepared questions I wanted to know to see if this was a company I wanted to work for. Interviewed with potential boss, which I really enjoyed considering I did not know what type of person to expect and was liked. Met with team members, who were all really nice and actually shadowed one to see what potential day would be like. Unlike a lot of interviews where they ask questions to confuse you and set you up to fail. Very easy going, enjoyable conversation.
I had quite a few shorter conversations where I got to learn about different teams and practice groups. There was a ton of transparency in the process and I felt like I really got to know the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Robert Half in Dec 2025
Interview
Had an initial call with a recruiter, she seemed brand new. Had another call with a Account Manager. Have followed up for the past 2 weeks with ZERO response. I would expect something, it doesn't matter if you're not moving forward not responding at all is unprofessional. I don't know if this is how they deal with clients but very unprofessional. Don't waste your time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robert Half

Wonderful experience, great front desk experience and kind knowledgeable manager did the interview. Great place to work! Friendly people in the Finance/Accounting Recruiting space. Interview was straight forward and positive experience.
