I applied online. I interviewed at Robinhood (Menlo Park, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
The Interview Process consists of 4 rounds:
Round 1: CodeSignal Online Coding Challenge
Result: Passed with score 847/850
Round 2: Karat Technical Interview
Result: Passed
Round 3: Recruiter Call
Result: Moved forward to virtual onsite
Round 4: Virtual Onsite, 3 rounds (Algorithm, System Design, Coding)
Result: Did well on system design, pretty average on coding but was determined to be sufficient.
By far one of the best and most straightforward recruiting process. Interviews are fair and highly technical focused which I enjoyed a lot. Final rounds are very difficult, but you do not need to be perfect to receive an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Distributed computing, tradeoffs between strong / eventual consistency

Interview
Codesignal OA -> Recruiter Phone Call -> Super day
The codesginal is a GCA and the phone call has the usual behavioral questions and they ask you about familiar programming languages.
I applied online. I interviewed at Robinhood (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2022
Interview
Standard tech company process. Recruiters are very friendly and communicative. 1. Recruiter call 2. Technical phone screen 3. Onsite (1. DSA, 2. System Design, 3. Project deep dive, 4. Hiring manager call)
I wouldn't underestimate the coding challenge! The first couple questions were straightforward, but the second two felt like Leetcode hard. Be sure to complete the first questions quickly so you can spend a majority of your time on the harder questions.
