I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Roche (Indianapolis, IN) in Oct 2017
Interview
I can't speak to the preliminary screening, but at the end of the process is an "Intern Day" in Indianapolis. Roughly 120 Applicants for 60 spots across all departments and franchises. Individual panel interview with your potential team and a group interview where you do physical activities to get points. The points don't matter, it's about how you interact with the team.
It was a one way video assessment. I was given 90 second prep time and 2 retries. Overall i was asked 5 questions regarding my personal qualities and what i understood about the role.
HR interviewed, asked about very general questions (why Roche, why this role, my previous experiences), moved to the next round with hiring manager. Got a little more technical and asked my previous experiences a bit more
I applied online. I interviewed at Roche (Basel) in Dec 2025
Interview
I was asked to prepare a 20 minute presentation for the interview. On interview I was then asked to deliver it in 10 minutes instead, to see how I could manage that stressful situation.
