I went through three interview stages: a call with the recruiter, a conversation with the hiring manager, and a final panel interview. The questions primarily focused on behavioral aspects, such as conflict resolution and problem-solving scenarios.
However, after what seemed to be a professional and positive interview experience, I encountered unexpected silence from both the recruiter and the hiring team. Despite reaching the final round and being informed that I would receive feedback within two weeks, I did not receive any follow-up communication even after reaching out to the hiring team on multiple occasions. Finally, after months I received an automated rejection email was sent once the position was closed.
While rejection is a natural part of the interview process, it is unusual and discouraging to be left without any response after progressing to the final stages, particularly when there has been a clear commitment to provide feedback.
