I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Rogan's Shoes (Buffalo Grove, IL) in Sep 2015
Interview
Very easy, it happened out in the sale's floor. The manager just asked very basic questions about availability and if I was in any after-school activities. If I had a car etc.
In person, in back of the store, very causal. Makes sure you are a good human and can speak to others. Often will review your answers from your application. Very easy.

Interview
Easy interview. Simple questions. Seemed more concerned that I quit my current job so I can work solely with them. Did not seem flexible towards my HS responsibilities. Manager was not understanding that I could not start work right away as I had spring break college tours planned. When I did get a start date, it was cancelled on me due to a snow storm. Same time I found out about a death in the family and I wanted to attend the funeral.Short notice I know, How do you plan for death? I never got a call back after that. I'm actually happy I'm not there. All interactions over the phone after hire with the manager were negative experiences. From big sighs, to SCHOLDING me for not planning better for a funeral and holding me hostage for them to “Call me back” How hard is it to say “You no longer have an offer here at Rogans” Red Flag Manager.

Interview
Super simple and uncomplicated! They just want to make sure each employee is a team player and wants to be there. Super welcoming during the interview, I felt like I was talking to someone I look up to and not intimidated or scared by the process.
