Very strange experience. I applied online and received an invitation to take a skill and personality assessment online prior to beginning the interview process. That was the first red flag, but I was curious as to what type of canned skill assessment test one can offer online for a senior marketing position. It was basically a math and logic problem set very similar to what you would find on the SAT or GMAT standardized tests. Absolutely nothing to do with marketing or leadership skills. And the personality test was a complete joke. This was by far the laziest "screening" attempt I have ever seen and I imagine speaks volumes of the culture there.
