I applied for the Customer and Services Management Summer Internship.
The application process was split into 3 stages:
1. Application form
2. Online testing
3. Assessment centre
I passed the first two stages (application form and online testing), but I was waiting a very long time to hear back from Rolls Royce on whether I had been successful or not to their final stage. They did not update me on my progress during the 6 weeks I was waiting for a response, which I found quite annoying.
After 6 weeks, I received an email saying that I had been unsuccessful due to the fact that the role that I was interested, "had been filled" - but I had waited 6 weeks prior to their decision, surely it hadn't filled up then!
Anyway, they did not give any feedback on the application process, but that if I had any questions, that I should call them up, or drop them an email, and I think this will be necessary in my case!
Saying this, the first two stages are not hard, I was able to answer the application questions and do the online testing well, but waiting to hear a reply took a long time.
