I had a great interview with their Director of Communications. We had similar personalities, she asked great questions and just seemed like a great person. She even told me she had a rough night before because she was at a concert. The 2nd was with their director of marketing which I thought went well. The only issue was she asked a really vague question - which was the first sign that she did not understand PR. I asked her to clarify and she just asked the same question, word-for-word. So I told her it's hard to answer that question without being specific, so I did the best I could.
Following both interviews, I sent thank you notes. I got a response from the first interview but the second I got nothing. I even followed-up twice. It's fine that I didn't get the job, but what makes me give a bad review isn't they weren't even professional enough to respond. Couldn't even tell me what I should work on, nothing. PR is a small world and this was very unprofessional behavior.
