The recruiter set up a time for an initial phone interview through email. They missed the first meeting, therefore I had to reschedule. At this point, I was not impressed, but continued on to see how everything would progress. The phone interview with the hiring manager went really well, but I still had my doubts. I was contacted for an in-person interview and was told that I would meet the team. When I got there, I realized very quickly that the hiring manager wasn't going to be at any of the meetings. This was unfortunate considering I took a half-day to meet with the person that I had built a rapport with on the phone. The actual interviews with the members of the team were fine - nothing noteworthy other than some critical comments and a superiority complex. Overall, when I left, I felt unimpressed - again. It took two days for me to get an automated response that they chose someone else (even though they told me they were still early in their search). The response was very telling considering I didn't even get to meet with the hiring manager.
