I applied for a position in the accounting department in Frankfurt in December 2018. I had two interviews over the phone with a recruiter in England. I had to explain to her the German education system and the certification process for an accountant in Germany. A recruiter should inform herself about the country specifics before the interview. After these interviews I was invited for a in person interview in the Frankfurt office. I received the time of the interview from the recruiter in England. She gave me the hour and wrote that it is at GMT time. I came to the interview an hour too early, the time she set was actually at CET. After the interview I received NO ANSWER about the outcome. I figured out by myself that I did not get the job. I believe that this lack of accuracy says a lot about the employer.
