I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at S&P Global (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
Applied through school. First round was tech interview on campus, asking to design an application to show different statistics, then asked questions about the design (how do you know it was good, what makes the design better than others ect.ect.) also asked about workflows. They then had an interview in New York, where I meet with 3 different people on the BA team. One of them grilled and critisized my application, one of them asked to describe a different app that I enjoyed using and why i liked it, one of them was just a general conversation to see if i was a good fit for the company.
I received a call back after applying online. The first round went smooth. The HR reached out to me for salary expectations before processing my application further. Although this role was advertised to have competitive salary it turned out to be the biggest cheapskate.
Post that conversation with HR, I never heard back on the feedback of the first round. The HR basically ghosted me.

The process is notably straightforward and lacks complexity, making it accessible for those who are well-prepared and have a solid understanding of their skill set. It is crucial to have a thorough preparation and a deep familiarity with one's own capabilities. Specifically, if the context involves technical requirements, it is imperative to have an in-depth knowledge of one's technical expertise. This preparation will not only smooth the process but also enhance one's ability to navigate through it with confidence and ease.
