I started with a video interview. Then lead to a phone interview. The process took about one month. They did take a while to reply after the first video interview but the actual interview process was short.

Interview
I applied online for an internship in early fall. In January, a recruiter contacted me requesting times for an hour video call with the hiring managers. The problem was, she contacted me the day I left for a week long trip overseas for a research conference. I explained the situation to her and she was rude and basically said that if I couldn't do the interview that week then I wouldn't be considered for the job. I had been patient for several months and the only week of time they could give me was literally the only week of my year that I was unavailable. I'm very disappointed because I have heard nothing but great things about SAS, and I thought they would encourage their employees to take on new adventures and continue learning. Especially since I was at a conference that would only improve my skills for that job. Terrible experience.
