SEI Novus interview questions

Was referred to the company and HR was very quick to reach out. Interview process consisted of two rounds: - First round was your typical phone screen with a member of the Human Resources team. Screener was very approachable and friendly. Conversation consisted on me walking through my resume, academics, past experience. Followed by questions from HR and a description of the Company & Internship position. Then time for Q&A. - Second round consisted of 2 in person interviews. For the sake of time I interviewed one on one firstly and then with two members of the Analytics team.

First, had a phone interview with the HR person asking me mostly about the behavioral questions and some questions about why I wanted to get into finance, why hedgefunds. Then, made it to the second round and had a call with a new analyst, he asked me about hedge fund strategies and what I knew about them. Then he told me to explain how hedge funds "hedge" and how do they short a stock. And also asked a lot of questions about my background. Overall they have three phone interviews but I didn't make it to the third round.
