I was very fortunate to have a former colleague and current SHI International employee recommend me for the position. I applied on their career website and the next day was contacted by a recruiter. They liked my applicable cloud administration and on-premises datacenter skills and tried to get me in front of the hiring manager the following week. Unfortunately, at the start of the next week, they moved forward with someone who applied earlier, and thusly, my interview with the hiring manager never took place. The recruiter encouraged me to keep an eye on the careers webpage, as this was a team that they planned to continue to grow.
