SOLV Energy interview questions

Initial, technical and group interview was very smooth. Few questions to determine skills level and fit and then decision made quickly after. Interview with recruiter and HR on 1st interview, interview with 3 senior engineers on technical interview and interview with team to determine project fit on 3rd interview.

There was an unscheduled phone screening where the recruiter called and asked questions, including salary expectations, without having an opportunity to prepare or review the job post. This was followed by a 1 hour video interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked very specific multi-part questions; without being able to view a 3-4 sentence question while answering, it was very challenging to make sure I was answering every part of what she asked. They said it would be a few weeks before they would know if I'd move forward to the final stage, which would have been an interview with her and one other person. I didn't hear back so I followed up with the recruiter who replied with a canned response. I do feel like I wasted my time with this one.
