2/24: Applied Online
3/5: Received email from recruiter to schedule a phone interview
3/16 AM: Phone Interview with Recruiter. Basic overview of the position, company, etc. plus a run-through of my resume. No behavioral questions. Recruiter was knowledgeable and friendly. At the end of the phone interview, I was told I'd be moving on to the next steps in the process.
3/16 PM: Received email requiring me to supply info for five professional references in a third-party application. I did this immediately. Email was sent to each reference containing a survey about my work habits.
3/17: All my references finished responding
3/25: Two interviews: one Zoom interview with the recruiter, and a second zoom interview with the team manager and a training specialist. Interview with recruiter was casual and mostly small talk. Second interview was tons of behavioral questions, a quick resume review, and lots of time for me to ask questions.
4/7: 30 Min. Job Shadow via Zoom + 15 minute interview with Senior Director of support. Both were extremely casual. Senior Director asked me if I wanted to change my answer to any questions from the manager interview from 3/25; I gave her a better response to one of the questions that was asked.
4/9: Offer (verbal/written)
4/15: Background check cleared
5/3: Scheduled Start Date
This was a pretty standard interview process; however it took a super long time. Expect at least a week between follow-ups and next-steps. I'm living proof that the long wait doesn't mean bad news.
