The hiring process started with a subjective test ( most companies use MCQ based tests for initial shortlisting of candidates). The test consisted of 10 questions covering various engineering disciplines like Strength of materials, dynamics of machinery, material science, vibrations, basic questions on FEM. The selected candidates were told to appear for one on one technical interview . This interview session consisted of a review of the subjective test conducted earlier, so be prepared. My interviewer asked a few short derivations on vibrations and Mechanics of solid. The hiring process finished with a HR interview which was just a formality.
