Interview
I interviewed online with the HR Manager for the Shared Team Services department and found the experience disappointing. The interview focused heavily on soft skills from my resume, asking for definitions and examples in a way that felt repetitive and disconnected from the role. I was also questioned multiple times about my commute and a brief employment gap, despite providing clear answers. Some questions felt invasive and unnecessarily personal. The interviewer’s tone came across as condescending and lacked warmth. She mentioned that discussing the job in detail would be a “waste of time,” which gave the impression that candidates are not valued equally in the process. The hiring process itself was described as lengthy and overly demanding for the position. Overall, the experience left me with a negative impression of the company’s culture and approach to recruitment. I would highly encourage them to reevaluate their interview practices.
