I was contacted by the main recruiter after I put in my application. She had emailed me to set up a phone interview and was very flexible with my schedule and was very communicative when we set up our phone screen. We had the phone interview and she asked really thorough questions and gave me great insight on the company and the role itself. After the interview, she told me she would be in touch with me in 24 hours regarding next steps. I didn’t hear anything after two days so I had followed up with an email. No response. I emailed again after four days and still no response. After I week I followed up again but no response. I was ghosted by the recruiter which was not fair to me, if I wasn’t the good fit for the job or company after the initial interview you’re allowed to say that. That is way better than not receiving communication after you were told you were going to. This recruiters action gave the company a very bad rap and reputation. Companies be careful would you have representing you.
