Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (San Marcos, TX) in Jun 2012
Interview
The person that first interviewed me, a team lead, seemed laid back and easy going, but then again it was his last day of work there for the store. The section manager that hired me seemed very insecure around me. I later learned from one of my references that he basically asked her if I was a sociopath? So not the most professional of people. He left the company about a year later if I remember correctly. Was interviewing for the Electronics Associate position but they put me into Hardlines instead with the (false) promise that I would be working more in Electronics then Hardlines. I believe they did this because Hardlines employees make less per hour then Electronics employees do.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not really anything different then any other interview
Single inperson interview, very easy and extremly personal, wore business casual. Always wear clothes for the job you want in the future not for the one you are applying for. I wore what I saw managers wearing there.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Beaumont, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
Interview was conducted within minutes of applying on the luck of a manager reaching out to me. But normally you apply online, and then they call you back if they want you. (Call back will take from 2-5 weeks)

Question 1
What did you do at previous job if things were slow?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Palmdale, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
The interview process is pretty standard. You walk in. They explain the job duties/requirements. They tell you how much you would get paid in that position. Etc. There is usually only one person interviewing you at a time.
