I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sam's Club
Interview
standard I guess, I found out through a friend they were hiring, when I called they instructed me to come in and fill an application out at the kiosk so I did. They called me to set up and interview so with in a few days I came in. I had an interview with a COS (the cashier supervisor) and then a very brief interview with the pharmacy manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
there wasn't any, the pharmacy manager said that this was his first interview because the store manager was supposed to do this but was not available, so there was no difficult questions.
Informal interview. Just talked about the job and asked if I could do vaccinations and work part-time. Also asked if I was certified or not. No behavioral questions or formal questions at all. Seemed like they were already interviewing multiple candidates.
Weird staff, interview went great the next day the pharmacist had a tech call me to ask for 3 references. The pharmacist called the references and when the call was over my references text/called me saying it was weird and she was being very nosey, intrusive, and digging for information about me, they felt like they were being interviewed and very uncomfortable. Very strange being that it’s retail and I’ve worked retail all my life and never once had a retail job ask for reference and be very nosey about it. I trust my references and their thoughts of the phone call. Overall I think this pharmacy is ran by weird nosey women who all seem to be in each other’s business. With all that being said I received a job offer, I didn’t have a great feeling from the very beginning I’m so glad I stuck with my intuition and didn’t take the job offer.
It was very smooth and simple. If you are prepared your good.
You need experience, you need to be registered with the board of pharmacy as a registered technician, You need to be licensed.
