I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Terre Haute, IN) in May 2021
Interview
I was recommended to the manager so it was very quick and easy. Sit down, introduce myself to the manager. After we got introduced he asked questions about my character, interests, and work related scenarios. Got hired right after the interview and setup my schedule.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (South Jordan, UT) in Aug 2021
Interview
Communication prior to interview was lacking, so I was unsure where to go when I arrived at the location. Eventually went to member services. Employee was less than inviting, I waited for quite a while before my manager arrived to start the interview, even though I was scheduled and on time. We walked around the store as she conducted the interview, she said this was because it's where I'd spend most of my time. I found it a little uncomfortable as there were customers around. Interviewer made the job sound easy and not-labor intensive (which turned out to be false). Was offered a job on the spot.

Interview
After you apply, you should receive an email for "You've been selected for an interview!" where you can schedule a time for the interview. At the star of the interview I was asked the "Tell me about yourself" question and was asked some questions about my response. Then he asked questions more on my ability to do the functions listed in the job requirements: can you learn to operate heavy machinery, can you work in fast paced environment, do you have experience in retail, and what is your availability. During the interview he also talked about the type of work you will be doing along with the format/system they use concerning employees and their pay. About the quarterly bonuses and how my performance affects my later pay.
Personal experience getting the interview:
In my case, I didn't receive that email, so I called my store and informed them about my application status (since I hadn't receive any update for a week and a half) and they asked for a name and number for the manager to contact me. With still no response for a couple days, I visited the store and at the front where they check your card I asked who I can talk to about my application and was directed to the hiring manager of my position and having told him my situation he said he'll contact me later that day. He told me he was available the next day and also available that same day all day, so I scheduled my interview at 6:30pm. Later when I came back to the store I told the front that I had an interview with the manager and told me to wait by the cafe. I waited a bit and he came by so we entered his office where he grabbed some paper and a clipboard and started the interview. It was a not very technical or behavioural interview. In the beginning,
