It’s all on zoom and very impersonal. Most people don’t turn on their cameras making it ackward. It was 90 minutes of this. A couple hours later I had another Zoom interview meeting with the manager.

Question 1
Name a time you had difficulty with a manager and how did you handle it.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sandia National Laboratories (Albuquerque, NM) in Jan 2023
Interview
The process consisted of a phone screening, an eight panel interview, and a two panel interview. The entire process was dragged out over three months and HR messed up the final interview causing even more delay. After the final interview they asked for three references from previous employers. One of my references informed me they were contacted and asked if I would be looking to move up within the company and in my career and they said yes. The manager said they would be looking for someone to stay in the position long-term and I ultimately was not selected. It seemed like Sandia was looking for an employee who will grind one position and not look to advance or move up, so ultimately glad I didn't get selected.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sandia National Laboratories (Albuquerque, NM) in Jun 2020
Interview
Multiple people interviewing a single candidate. Did not ask typical interview questions. Interesting experience. They talked about current projects. They did not describe the role in more detail but I could have asked.
