I Interviewed at SeatGeek Feb 2024, failing at the coding challenge (2nd stage), I was luckily enough to get a referral. First stage was a initial phone call with a internal recruiter with generic questions. Second stage was a timed coding challenge. My thoughts were it sounded like a really nice company that has a very high standard. I think in hindsight this role was too advanced for me but it was a good learning experience to go through the interview steps. I agree with their **reasoning** to not move me forward even though it was upsetting at the time. I think it would have been good if the candidate was able to re-try a test on failure though but understand as-well. I did have to chase-up after 2 weeks of not hearing any feedback, which is frustrating when you invest the time to the technical test. Sometime in the future i might try again.
