      IT Support Specialist Interview

      Jan 31, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sedgwick (London, England)

      Interview

CONFUSED - I was put into contact with Sedgwick via a recruitment agent. I initially had a 30 minute video conference - I was told on a Friday at 5pm that the interview will be on the following Monday at 9am. Their was no flexibility to a different day or time, so I made some late arrangements at work to be available. 1st Stage The interview went well and we went through my resume and experience and was greeted with a warm welcome. The interview was 30 minutes and I was told straight away that I was through to the next stage. 2nd Stage This followed a vc with the team 2 days later but at 9pm at night. I was asked various technical questions, and the team was also very friendly. The interview was for 1 hour. 3rd Stage Finally I was asked to visit the office to meet a senior executive. I was provided the wrong information by the exec to initially meet. When the interview commenced, I was not offered a drink, and he was having difficulty with his pc. I aided in getting the VC up and running. I immediately realised that he hadn't read my resume. He apologised to have not gone through my resume and to briefly talk him through it. At another point both the interviewer and person on VC were addressing a work issue, as I was answering a question and it was waiting for a response. He shuffled a bit and apologised as something had come up from an executive. At that point the person on the VC said they were 'Dealing with it'. The interview shortly ended, and a few days later my agent received a call saying the senior executive that I met didn't think I was the right fit. The only other bit of feedback was that the senior executive was not impressed that I only assisted in getting the VC up and running when I entered the office.
