Easily the most disorganized interview process. I applied in the first week of September and got a response to start the interview process 2 days later. From there, it took 7 weeks to get to the end, and not necessarily because they had a whole lot of interviewing to go through. Here's a few details about how weird the entire thing was: * I submit my resume for a few positions. Riot comes back and says that a team hiring for a completely different position is interested in my resume. None of the original positions for whic I applied are on the table. * They then send me a job description of this position. It's in a format that my computer can't read. Eventually they send a word doc of which only parts could be rendered. The job description itself was vague. * I ask for a bit more information on what exactly I'd be doing because of how vague the job description is. Getting a response for that took 2 weeks. Their response only partially matched what the job description actually detailed. * I interview on a Monday. After going through all of the interviews, I'm told to wait until Friday of that week to receive a response. I try to make contact with HR the next day to confirm this (I had a few offers awaiting my response so I wanted to make sure that I got the timing right). Radio silence from recruiting. * On the day that I was told to expect a response from them, still radio silence. I send them 2 emails (again, I have other offers who have been waiting, some for over a week), the last of which reads, "Can I at least get an acknowledgement that you received these emails?". I kid you not -- less than a minute later, I get a response from recruiting saying that they tried to email me multiple times but were rejected and that they had to "pull up my profile" in order to send the email that I just received (less than a minute to pull up my profile and draft an email? That's some lightning speed clicking skills -- you should be a professional League player!) And yet, still, I receive no response to my previous emails, inquiring whether I'd get a verdict by EOD. * Finally, 30 minutes later, the recruiter had to copy-paste what looked to be an automated message saying they chose to pursue other candidates. I really wanted to work at Riot, but if this is how they operate, maybe I dodged a bullet? /shrug That's not a question I'm interested in figuring out any time soon.
