I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seneca Family of Agencies
Interview
Considering the large amount of applicants Seneca has, they first do a group interview with about 8-10 people. Seneca does not like outspoken people who overpower others, which is why it's best to sit back, answer questions, but do not be the person where everyone is annoyed at you for answering every single question obnoxiously. Fortunately, I got to skip the group interview and went directly to meeting with the Director of the location I applied for. After answering an insane amount of questions and completing a case study, I was asked for a 2nd interview and was then hired. They are VERY choosy when it comes to hiring, and they pick you apart until they decide you're fit for the job.

Question 1
You are at a home visit after receiving a phone call on the crisis phone, a teenager has told you that she wants to slit her wrists at home and her mother is a known alcoholic and her brother is on drugs. It's late at night and you've already been at the home for several hours with the girl, it's now approaching bed time. The girl is still saying she'll slit her wrists. What do you do?
I completed one interview with a supervisor and program manager, and answered from a set of questions I would consider average in terms of difficulty. I received clear instructions and the interviewers were both very cordial. It was a positive experience overall

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seneca Family of Agencies (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2014
Interview
Online application. Was called for an interview by HR, who forwarded my name to the location I specified. At the location, I was first given a case description and asked to come up with questions I would have about the case and prioritize what needed attention (in writing). Then I was interviewed by two people, a manager of the whole group I would be working for, and a supervisor who was at the level directly above where I would be. Interview was an hour long, informal.
