I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seneca Family of Agencies (San Jose, CA) in Dec 2013
Interview
Applied online, very brief phone screen with HR recruiter who asked why I applied to Seneca and confirmed whether I met the minimum qualifications, then was invited to group interview the following week.
Five other candidates were at the group interview. The HR recruiter first asked us to introduce ourselves and then asked a series of behavioral questions: strengths and weaknesses; how you handled a difficult person; how you managed a difficult situation; how you stay organized; how you would prioritize multiple tasks.
At the end of the 1-hour group interview, we were told that they would let us know whether we were continuing in the process within a week. The next steps would have been a 1-hour Word/Excel test, and then a 1-on-1 interview with the prospective supervisor.

Question 1
What steps would you take if you were manning the front desk and two phone lines started ringing, then a person walked in the door to be helped, then the Sheriff walked in the door, and you had to make 10 copies for a meeting in 5 minutes, as well as prep the conference room for that meeting?
Two-tier interview. The first is a group interview and the second is with the executive. Really good turnaround time and the questions are pretty standard to what's out there as test questions for these kinds of roles.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Seneca Family of Agencies in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by phone shortly after and had an interview in person a few days later. They email you a three page application, an Equal Opportunity Data Form, and an Education Authorization form to complete prior to the interview. The interview lasted almost 2 hours including question and answer opportunity afterward.

Question 1
The questions were worded EXACTLY as described by previous reviewers so the interview is completely scripted. No variance and nothing unexpected or unusual.

Interview
Phone call from HR recruiter a week after applying online, asking why the position interested me, then talked about the requirements for the position. Scheduled for a group interview the following week. They e-mail you an application to fill out to bring with you to the interview. Group interview-5 people when I interviewed. Asked to name 3 strengths, and what a previous supervisor would say they would like you to improve on. How you handled a situation in a previous job that was a disaster. What kind of computer programs are you efficient in? They give you a situation and ask how you would handle it. After the interview questions, they tell you a little more about the company and the positions you are applying for. If they feel they have found a fit for you, then you will be given an excel/word test just so they know you know the basics. (not timed) After that, you will have a 1/1 interview with the supervisor of that specific program you are applying for.
