Interview
First round was a 1-1 interview that focused on Servicenow as a company, the interviewer's role, and my past experience. Some of the questions consisted of things like "Why ServiceNow", and diving deeper a little into some of the work you've done.
After two weeks of radio silence I decided to reach out and didn't have high hopes, but they wanted to move forward to a one hour panel interview. The panel consisted of three people, and they wanted you to present a project you've done in the past. They want to learn more about how you work and why you do the things you do in your work, but I found most of the questions to be extremely unnecessary and even a little annoying. It was a pretty intensive interview and a lot of the questions they asked were focused on the extremely minute details of the project. Be prepared to answer questions back to back.
Four weeks after the second interview I did not hear anything so I decided to reach out again. I was then told by the recruiter that the role was hiring for two positions, one of which was filled with the person I interviewed with. I was told by my recruiter that the person I interviewed suggested I speak with the other manager over the second role (same job title, content design intern) but they would be on maternity leave for the next few weeks. I found this frustrating as I've already waited an entire month to hear something and had to reach out myself to hear this, and I'm being expected to go through this entire process again due to their hiring system. You would think a company that preaches a lot about treating employees like people and their amazing work culture would at least respect the people they are interviewing. I have not heard back concerning interviewing again for the second role, but I am no longer interested now that this company has showed their cards.
