The overall experience was shockingly fast - I applied, received an invitation for the initial phone interview quite quickly. The phone interview went well, and the recruiter seemed pleased and impressed with everything I brought to the table. I walked away feeling very positive about the whole experience. Only two days later I received an automated rejection - when I reached out requesting any sort of feedback, as I remain bewildered on why I was rejected so quickly, I never received a response. When I initially received the rejection I assumed they had found a candidate already, but on looking on the Shamrock website I found that the exact role I applied for was still up and accepting applicants. I have over a decade in finance, and did thorough research on the specific company under the Shamrock umbrella that I was applying for so I was well prepared. While everything I have heard indicates this is a great company, I am disappointed to admit that the quick rejection and lack of response from the recruiter has left quite the bad taste in my mouth.
